GLOBALSTAR and GLOBALSTAR-e are developed by recovering 40% of components from MEGASTAR-s and TOPSTAR-s models. Specifically engineered for the reverse processing, they offer outstanding value for money.

GLOBALSTAR-e
Equipped with a sturdy stainless feeding table, GLOBALSTAR-e is the right choice for reverse processing of stiff leathers suitable for footwear and leather goods. It is particularly effective with thicker leathers.
GLOBALSTAR
Thanks to its spreader for processing soft leathers and its feeding unit, GLOBALSTAR is suitable for working all types of leather in reverse mode: Cowhide shoe upper leather goods, or very light clothing sheepskins and goatskins (as thin as 0.4 mm) are well catered for. It ensures high application precision and unmatched defect coverage.

High precision and versatility
GLOBALSTAR and GLOBALSTAR-e are designed to meet the full range of application needs, even on leathers with heavy defects or with high thickness variations:
- Application of stucco or highly viscous products for defect correction;
- Application of pre-coats, whether liquid or foamed, on both buffed and full-grain leathers;
- Coating of primers and water-based pigmented products on leather or splits;
- Application of topcoats and fixatives on smooth leathers or fine-grain embossed surfaces;
- Impregnation processes;
- Fatliquoring with oils and waxes, both cold and hot, using the optional heated roller system;
- Application of adhesives and resin finishes on the flesh side of the leather.
La GLOBALSTAR and GLOBALSTAR-e are equipped with a large-diameter counter roller and a rubber transport belt, both based on the GREENSTAR-s series. This technical solution ensures that the coating capacities of the engraved rollers on GLOBALSTAR and GLOBALSTAR-e are identical to those of the MEGASTAR-s and GREENSTAR-s models. On the more advanced GLOBALSTAR, in addition to standard chrome-plated rollers, users can also install Long-ife rollers, featuring enhanced durability and a low-friction surface treatment.
The small-diameter return rollers of the rubber belt facilitate the leather detachment process and eliminate the contamination of the flesh side as removal can be made without the need for a transfer conveyor.
Optional dedicated software and hardware packages are available to enable integration with the tannery’s company network and the Internet. These allow for production and process data acquisition via the company ERP system and enable remote assistance from GEMATA technicians when needed.
